Description
Come join our dynamic team at Valley View Animal Hospital in Windsor, CO! Our team works together to provide accessible and high-quality care to our patients. We are well staffed and always re-evaluating our staffing needs as we continue to grow. We currently have an amazing team of receptionists, RVTs and experienced veterinary assistants to help support our DVMs. A welcoming and positive culture is of utmost importance to our leadership team, and we work hard to maintain work/life balance while still helping as many pets as we can. Valley View Animal Hospital offers comprehensive small animal medical services across a wide schedule, including Urgent Care available Monday through Saturday from noon to 10 PM. We are a well-equipped hospital, with the tools to provide excellent care. We have in-house laboratory machines (CBC, Chemistry, Sedivue, InvueDx, aPTT/PTT), an electrosurgery unit, as well as a well-stocked pharmacy both in clinic and online through VetCove. We have digital radiography and all of our radiographs are sent out for review. We also work with local radiologists for in-clinic diagnostic ultrasounds and have our own ultrasound unit for cystocentesis and FAST scans. Our dedication to superior patient care has earned the community's trust, reflected in our excellent 4.7-star Google rating. If you are looking for an opportunity to provide high-quality medicine alongside highly committed teammates, this is where you will do your best work. Located in Windsor, CO, our hospital is situated within a vibrant and growing northern Colorado community. Windsor offers a welcoming environment where you can establish deep connections with clients and their pets while enjoying the benefits of life in northern Colorado. You will find that the surrounding area provides an excellent quality of life, allowing you to easily maintain work-life balance while pursuing a fulfilling and rewarding career in veterinary medicine. We currently have 3 full time doctors and are looking to complete our team with a fourth full time DVM. We are looking for an experienced veterinarian who is comfortable working independently for the majority of their shifts. This position will have one dedicated surgery day per week, along with one GP shift and two urgent care shifts per week. Urgent care hours are 12-10pm and general practice hours are 8am-6pm.
Every surgery day is dedicated to surgery only, so no more rushing to finish that complicated dental while appointments wait in exam rooms. Surgical mentorship is available, but a willingness to learn procedures and confidence in working independently is imperative.
Our doctors are empowered to treat every pet individually based on spectrum of care and their own clinical judgement – no cookie cutter medicine here! If you want to practice in a fun, supportive environment driven by good medicine and not just revenue goals, we would love to see how you can fit into our team!
