Description

Large animal veterinarian(s) with equine experience needed for attending veterinarian positions in New York State (Yonkers and/or Albany area) AND Northeastern Pennsylvania: harness tracks, horse shows, and training centers.    Duties may include drawing blood, administering lasix and postrace medications, post performance exams, and occasional emergencies.  Pay is generally $100/hr plus travel and lodging if needed.   All equipment and supplies are provided. On site training with a great crew. You do not need to be an equine only vet; in fact historically we find that mixed and large animal practitioners are the best!   This may turn into a full time job if desired.   Usual 8-9 hour day ($100/hr) and NO after hours or on call duty!  This is easy, enjoyable work and a great "second job" for someone with other work or family responsibilities.  Please Email only: firstequine1@gmail.com     Email us and start working anytime if you have a good equine work background.

Requirements
