From a diagnostic standpoint, we have DR imaging, console Ultrasound, full in-house lab suite, and daily reference lab pick-up. Located just 15 miles from the heart of Charlotte's Uptown, the town of Harrisburg offers that small town feel, while still getting to enjoy all the amenities of a booming city just miles up the road.
At Harrisburg Animal Hospital we very much pride ourselves on promoting and fostering a very familial culture. Veterinary medicine can be challenging at times, but it is our goal to create an environment where doctors and staff alike truly feel supported and like more than just a cog in the machine. Along these same lines, we are also confident we offer competitive scheduling and benefits in an effort to ensure our doctors can truly enjoy a work life balance.
Our sister hospital, Cabarrus Animal Hospital, located just 15-20 minutes from our Harrisburg location, has been in business for over 40 years, and is considered one of the areas most progressive hospitals, and truly functions as a hybrid General Practice/ER/Urgent Care. We believe strongly that the success of our hospitals is rooted in the fact that we not only strive to provide an unparalleled client experience, but also because we pride ourselves on harboring a culture of consistent continuing education and training such that we are always offering new and more advanced medical and surgical procedures. Harrisburg Animal Hospital is the perfect job for veterinarians who love forming long-term relationships with clients and their pets through annual visits, but who also love practicing medicine and want their days to be a mix of wellness and sick/urgent care type cases.
This is truly an exciteing time to join the Harrisburg Animal Hospital family, and we are excited to add the perfect fit too the team. We have made a point of hiring such that we are never short and have to make a hire out of solely out of necessity, which has ensured we are always able to hire for culture and not need. If you are looking for your forever practice that you can grow with and call home...we would love to hear from you!
